The DGS-2000 Series supports 802.3ad Link Aggregation, which allows grouping of multiple ports to provide redundancy and load balancing in mission-critical environments. Additionally, these switches also support 802.3ah OAM Ethernet link-layer remote loopback and discovery as well as D-Link’s Unidirectional Link Detection (DULD). These two Layer 2 protocols combined ensure the reliability of data transmission in your network.
Network Optimisation
The DGS-2000 Series supports Auto Voice VLAN and Auto Surveillance VLAN, which allows voice and video traffic to be automatically identified and prioritised, even during peak hours of traffic.

The DGS-2000 Series features Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics to help network administrators find and solve network problems quickly and easily. Loopback Detection is used to detect loops created by a specific port and automatically shut down the affected port. The Cable Diagnostics feature is designed for network administrators to quickly examine the quality of the copper cables, recognise the cable type, and detect cable errors.

D-Link Network Assistant (DNA) is our latest software for admins to easily discover, configure and control their network down to the port level. We also provide an additional legacy software that authorises them to configure multiple large wired/wireless device networks with D-View 7 for centralised management to reduce costs and maintenance.
The DGS-2000 Series also supports full Command Line Interface (CLI) through Telnet, SSH and the console port.
