Mersive Solstice and Pod Gen3: Meeting Rooms for the 21st Century

 Mersive build collaboration tools to make your meetings and office life far easier, especially when having to deal with presenting or sharing screens in a meeting room. Rather than have everyone hop between a single machine or HDMI cable, they’ve spent years developing software to incorporate everyone’s own devices and their own hardware to help ease this process with more unique devices that might be used in the office (Linux, etc.).

The Platform This is the Solstice platform, an incredibly powerful collaboration tool that works over wirelessly to accommodate between 1-4 people on non-Unlimited plans. It works in line with your IT team, so you can secure and scale it as needed.

Hardware

Easy to Setup

 Solstice is incredibly easy to use, so all you’ll need to do to train anyone up in the office is give them a brief rundown. This allows for quick setup and a hands off approach once installed, making it ideal for any workspace. The user interface even displays certain instructions for methods of how to connect and what meetings are scheduled via the software.

Connectivity

 To make things even easier, Mersive have been building hardware, the Pod Gen3. Connecting to your local network, this acts as a Solstice hub, allowing you to display it over two monitors with the double HDMI outputs and connect a laptop or other devices over the HDMI input on the front. Once the app is downloaded to the specified device, you can begin collaboration almost immediately.

Display, POE+

Two HDMI ports

 The Pod Gen3 can output 4K over one monitor, but once split into two, will restrict itself to 1080p for a smooth experience. This means that via the app, you can beam 4K video at 30fps to the box to have the whole room watch it in one go.

POE+ 

If you’re after cutting down on space, the Pod is POE+ compatible, so you can power it via one cable and reduce the need for power supplies. So not only are you on the network, but you’re also powering the device! A USB-C port is on the front for future developments.

Solstice Dashboard

Manage

 Configure, monitor, manage and control your Solstice system and Pod Gen3. The Dashboard is available for Windows and is available for Enterprise licenses or Windows Display Software licenses. With this Dashboard and the right license, you’ll surface the extra features that come with the Enterprise version of Solstice.
