The flexiDOCK MB024SP-B is a tray-less four-bay drive enclosure that allocates 2.5" SAS/SATA drives to the frontal 5.25" drive bay of any computer system for easy drive-swapping and accessibility. It supports four 2.5" SAS/SATA hard drives or solid-state drives up to 9.5mm height and utilizes the SATA III 6Gbps transfer speed.
With the simplistic tray-less docking style design, installing or removing the drives has never been more straightforward. Simply slide in 2.5" hard drives (HDDs) or solid-state drives (SSDs) to quickly access your data and safely ejecting by pulling the drive out manually.
The exhaust fan is purposely removed on MB024SP-B to reduce any high pitch noise produced by the fan. It is designed to emit minimal sound interference and is suitable for any low acoustic required environment.Additionally, by allowing additional free space in the rear of the unit, MB024SP-B is shorter in depth and can fit into most computer chassis where space constraint is critical.
More than 100 ventilation holes/cutouts are strategically placed throughout the enclosure and backplane for maximum passive cooling effect. In addition, the honeycomb air vents located at the front and rear of the device work perfectly with the computer's cooling fan, quickly remove trapped heat around the drives and keep your 2.5" drives running at optimal temperatures.
The flexiDOCK MB024SP-B has four easy-to-read individual soft blue drive status LEDs to indicate the drive status - a solid blue light indicates a drive is inserted and has power, a flashing blue light indicates the drive is in use.To ensure solid connectivity between the device and system, the flexiDOCK MB024SP-B supports both 7-pin SATA data and 15-pin SATA power cables with locking latches to avoid accidental disconnections. Once the cables are connected, they will lock into place.The metal outer chassis provides a long lifespan and superior protection to the drives. In addition, the robust ABS plastic top, front, and interior structure offer excellent air ventilation and drive stability system without sacrificing strength.
