The DGS-2000 Series includes a wide range of port density and media types, from 10 to 52 ports, including Gigabit copper, fibre and combo ports. All PoE switches within the series support PoE+ and provide high power budgets of up to 370W, allowing more PoE devices to be connected and powered.
The DGS-2000 Series supports 802.3ad Link Aggregation, which allows grouping of multiple ports to provide redundancy and load balancing in mission-critical environments. The DGS-2000 Series features Loopback Detection and Cable Diagnostics to help network administrators find and solve network problems quickly and easily. Loopback Detection is used to detect loops created by a specific port and automatically shut down the affected port. The Cable Diagnostics feature is designed for network administrators to quickly examine the quality of the copper cables, recognise the cable type, and detect cable errors.

The DGS-2000 Series also supports full Command Line Interface (CLI) through Telnet, SSH and the console port.
