Auto Brightness Control
To prevent eye fatigue, a brightness sensor called Auto EcoView detects the changes in the ambient brightness that occurs throughout the day and automatically adjusts the screen to the ideal brightness level.
Clear View from All Angles
The monitor uses an LED-backlit IPS (in-plane switching) LCD panel with 178° viewing angle that minimizes color shift and contrast changes when viewing the screen at an angle. This means that two people sitting at the one computer can easily see the screen with high image quality
Reduce Blue Light by 80%
In the visible light spectrum, blue light has wavelengths adjacent to ultraviolet light. Compared to the factory preset setting of 6500 K of typical LCD monitors, Paper Mode is closer to the spectral distribution with long reddish wavelengths so it reduces the amount of blue light, a cause of eye fatigue, and helps prevent eyestrain when reading documents. When used in conjunction with Auto EcoView dimming function, blue light can be reduced by as much as 80%.
Flicker-Free Viewing
Due to the way brightness is controlled on LED backlights, a small number of people perceive flicker on their screen which causes eye fatigue. The FlexScan EV2495 utilizes a hybrid solution to regulate brightness and make flicker unperceivable without any drawbacks like compromising color stability – even on low brightness settings.
Minimum Brightness of 1 cd/m2
In a dimly-lit work environment, a monitor with low brightness settings is more comfortable to use. With its LED backlight, the monitor is adjustable to approximately 1 cd/m² which is less than 1% of the maximum.
Non-Glare PanelA non-glare panel reduces eye fatigue by dissipating reflective light that would otherwise make the screen difficult to view from different positions.
Multiple Connections
The monitor is equipped with a USB Type-C and three USB Type-A ports for easily connecting to multiple devices without the need for a docking station. This is convenient when using a laptop with limited USB ports or for streamlining connection to workstations in hot desking or home office environments. The monitor also has HDMI and DisplayPort inputs for further flexibility.
Built-in KVM Switch for Multiple PC Operation
The monitor's USB Type-B and Type-C upstream ports have a built-in KVM function, allowing users to use a single mouse and keyboard for up to two connected PCs for an even cleaner workspace. Furthermore, the peripherals connected to the monitor's USB hub and its network connection switch to the selected PC for a smooth operation on the selected computer.

There are many things that go into creating a high-precision/high-contrast, bright and crisp screen. We constantly develop our monitor technology, use only high-end materials and carefully calibrate every single monitor during production. As a result of these efforts, you can always rely on excellent image reproduction.
Maximum image quality thanks to the IPS Panel
The monitor is capable of all three key elements of excellent image quality: excellent resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, maximum contrast of 1000:1, and stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m2. That means you will experience razor-sharp text contours, brilliant graphics, and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panels with LED backlight, contrasts and colours remain stable from every viewing angle.
Precise colour control
An image can only be perfect if the colours are, too. This is why EIZO office monitors have a 10-bit look-up table at a minimum, which allows the colour information to be assigned much more precisely than with conventional 8-bit LUTs. The finest colour gradations ensure that gradients are always perfectly displayed, while also offering customised adjustment options. For example, you can adjust the white balance from 4000 K to 10000 K in 500-K intervals.
Overdrive to quickly change images
Fast, faster, overdrive. The overdrive function accelerates switching time so that the grey-grey change takes only 5 ms on average. You can watch films and rapidly changing images without annoying afterglow.

Controls integrated into bezel
Electrostatic switches are integrated into the front of the EV2495 instead of mechanical buttons. This ensures ease of use while also giving the monitor an extremely elegant look. The speakers and all the controls are also built into the bezel, pointing forward in the direction of the user. They are fully integrated into the monitor’s flat, nearly frameless design to offer an excellent user experience.
Take Your Settings with You
The Color Briefcase feature allows you to effortlessly maintain your individual screen preferences and take them with you, even to different monitors. Your settings are automatically reflected simply by connecting your laptop to the monitor with a USB-C cable. This streamlines the setup and connection process when using hot desking or shared workspaces, as well as enhanced comfort when telecommuting.
Synchronise Screen adjustments
Screen InStyle will apply any color adjustments you make to one monitor to the others on your desktop for consistent color across all screens. In addition, any changes detected by the brightness sensor of one monitor you assign will be applied uniformly to your other monitors. Furthermore, when daisy chaining multiple monitor monitors with USB Type-C, changes are conveniently reflected on all connected monitors automatically.Screen InStyle also has convenient functions for switching to your preferred display mode by active application and functions for managing multiple monitors from one location.

EcoView Optimizer
Save electricity without compromising quality: The EcoView Optimizer reduces the background lighting fully automatically for dark images. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 30%. At the same time, the signal is amplified and the colour tone values adjusted. The result: You will enjoy the image quality you are used to but consume less power.
Zero-watt consumption thanks to the power switch
The monitors have an integrated mechanical power switch, which is extremely practical and energy-saving: If you switch off the monitor using the power switch, the device will stop consuming any power at all. Moreover, it consumes a maximum of 0.5 watt in standby mode.
